ATTRACTIONS
Not including Currarong/Warrain Beach, there are 9 stunning Jervis Bay beaches (and the Point Perpendicular Lighthouse) to experience close by as well as another 4 Pacific Ocean beaches on the Beecroft Headland, where you can watch the sunset over the ocean (unusual on the East coast). Most Jervis Bay beaches have pure white sand with emerald and turquoise water & are all unspoilt (check photos in the photo gallery).

Due to the Dept of Defence, some Jervis Bay beaches (and The Point Perpendicular Lighthouse) are sometimes only accessible on weekends, school & public holidays. Another 2 fantastic Jervis Bay beaches, located at Red Rock, can be accessed from Currarong Road, heading west to Callala, all year round.

Access into all the local Jervis Bay Beaches is on dirt tracks. From The Elements it will take a 3 to 7 minutes drive.

ACTIVITIES
Activities include most water sports, snorkeling & scuba diving on numerous reefs, great surfing, sailing, sailboarding, kayaking, ocean, rock & beach fishing (4 boat ramps in region), cycling, dolphin & whale cruises, numerous bush & beach walks, abseiling, huge variety of wild life (marine & bush), bird watching, tennis, golf is available at Callala, Worrigee & Nowra & Coollangatta winery is a 40 minute drive away.

LOCATION
Currarong is located at the entrance to the Beecroft Headland, a peninsular which juts out about 16klms from the standard east coast line of Australia. This unique location means that Currarong often has different weather conditions than those experienced nearby in Callala, Culburra or Nowra. Facing primarily north/north west, Currarong & the Beecroft Headland have various beaches & rock platforms that allow you to watch the sunset over the ocean with beautiful mountain ranges in the background, on the east coast of Australia. Dolphin & whale watching is also a common occurrence.

The Beecroft Peninsular has some of the largest cliffs in NSW (possibly in Australia) & a wide variety of bush walks leading to stunning scenery, inlets, gullies, beaches, caves & rock outcrops. This location is also world famous for catching black marlin off the rocks. The Beecroft Peninsular is also the north head/entrance into Jervis Bay where you find some of the most beautiful pristine beaches in Australia. The Elements has easy access to these wonderful locations including The Point Perpendicular Lighthouse located at the entrance into Jervis Bay. Point Perpendicular has stunning views around Jervis Bay & is very popular for abseiling & whale watching.
